Chief Executive Officer - Philippe Kerkhoven

Born into a Swiss-Dutch family and raised across Europe, Philippe is fluent in English, German, French, Italian, and Dutch. He has been based in Asia for the past 18 years, where he has built strong regional and international networks.

He began his career at Credit Suisse in Zurich before being selected to establish the bank’s Institutional Client Desk in Asia, covering Singapore and Hong Kong. He later joined HSBC Private Bank in Singapore, where he developed an EMEA-focused market segment serving European, Middle Eastern, and African clients. Throughout his career, Philippe has advised high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth families, and family offices on cross-border investments and structuring opportunities across Asia-Pacific. He built a global coverage model spanning the UK, CIS markets, and institutional B2B partnerships, supported by dedicated teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, and London.

In 2008, he joined ING Private Bank Asia (now Bank of Singapore) to launch and lead the International Market platform. He built a global coverage model

spanning the UK, CIS markets, and institutional B2B partnerships, supported by dedicated teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, and London.

Through years of close collaboration with families and institutional investors, Philippe recognised the growing need for a more integrated and client-focused approach to wealth management. This insight led to the founding of Pangaea Wealth, an independent multi-family office and asset management firm dedicated to delivering holistic, cross-border wealth solutions.
